Yongmeori Coast/Shore is a great place to walk. You can view the beautiful sea shore and the layers of rocks (sandstone bed) that were formed during the past one thousand years. I visited here with my school friends to do a science project and it was truly amazing! You can also spot the haenyeos, the female divers in Jeju Island and the sibling island

The Legend on Yongmeori shore
This place is called Yongmeori (dragon head) because the hill near this shore looks like a dragon's
head going inside the ocean. According to the legend, king Jinshi sent his soldiers to cut off the dragon's tail and its body. This made the dragon scream with pain and fall into the ocean.

ZEN Highway Cafe

<Special post / Restaurant recommendation in Seogwipo>

Website: http://www.zenhideawayjeju.co.kr/
Adress: 2032-7, Sagyel, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju-do
Contact info: 064-794-0133

ZEN Hihhway Cafe was one of the best restaurant view wise. When you go out the balcony, you can view the a small island and the dragon head shore + the beautiful seashore. This cafe is where you can really relax and enjoy your meal! Though, the food was moderate. If you are planning to visit Segwipo, this restaurant is
highly recommended.

ZEN Highway Cafe also has pension. I didn't visit there, but you can view the rooms from a blogpost done by a visitor:

Songaksan Mountain is a great place to have a long and refreshing walk. Near the mountain, there is a trail, which I think is part of the Olle trail. This trail leads you around the cliff and to the crater, where you can see the overview of the island. If you can, I recommend you to walk to the end of the trail because the view is amazing. Also, as Songaksan Mountain is close to the ocean, this place is better to visit when it's less windy.

Soesokkak is where you can de-stress by walking around or taking a leisurely ride. As this place is not a well-known tours sight, it is quiet and peaceful. This is one reason why I like here. If you take the bus (information written below), you can directly walk to where the upstream starts and continue to walk or ride downwards. At the end, you will spot the ocean and sometimes spot dolphins!

Although I recommend you to go here during spring or summer, it is also nice to visit here during the winter because most of the trees in Soesokkak are green all year.

You can ride bus 100 to Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal from Jeju International Airport or take bus for Namjo - ro (bus 730) from the terminal or take bus 700 from the eastern part of Jeju (e.g. Pyoseon, Seongsanpo). Get off at Dure Villa station and walk to the bridge that is located near the station (takes about 15 minutes to reach to Soesokkak). You can just ride a taxi too.

Even though this place is called "tea museum",  it's more like a cafe. When you first enter the museum, you can look at different kinds of green teas, but this section is really short. I personally hope this portion of the museum can be expanded. After this section, there is a gift shop and a cafe. I recommend O'sulloc cleansing foam and Green tea with adzuki beans. They are really good! When you go out the building there is a cosmetic shop (innisfree) too.

I really enjoyed the grass field next to the tea museum (you can go here when you turn left from the entrance).

"There is an area with an environmentally friendly shower area, camp fire, communal kitchen and camping site. As a natural forest, it is a habitat for various wild fauna and flora." - Jeju Tourism site

Jinny's comment: If you enjoyed the recreation forests that I've recommended in this blog, you will also like Seogwipo Natural Recreation Forest. It's a great place for a short walk and for camping. I mostly went here with my family for a short walk and it was nice, but was always slightly crowded with tourists. However, the camping sites are located few feats away from the tracks, so you can enjoy camping without noise.

Saryeoni Frorest is cedar forest. If you want to have a easy walk, this is truly an amazing place to walk. I personally think this is the best forest in Jeju Island. What fascinated me was the view when the weather was foggy (I felt like I was in some kind of a movie scene). I visited twice here and every time I visited, there were few people, so I think people who want to quietly enjoy the nature and the view would really like this forest. For additional information, Saryeoni Forest was selected as "31 hidden beauties of Jeju."
