Ecoland theme park is highly recommended for families who have children. Each stations have different facilities that both parents and children can enjoy. For instance, at the first station, there is a playground and grass field for picnic. There is also a station where you can walk Jeju Gotiawal, which means "forest" in Jeju dialect. With that in mind, you can enjoy the fresh air and learn about Gotiawal (The announcement tells you the story). When our family visited here, it took us about two hours to finish because we stopped in every station.

Kensington Hotel Jeju

<General information>
Rating: *****
Room costs: KRW 350,000~
Assistance for foreigners: English, Chinese, Japanese
Location: 60,  Jungmungwangwang - ro 72beon - gil, Seogwipo, Jeju - do 697 - 807

Jinny's opinion:

At the hotel:
This hotel was really impressive. What I liked the most were the paintings and other artworks placed every floor, where each floor had a different theme (they were all about the theme of Jeju, such as mountains and ocean).

There are two swimming pools in this hotel. One is a typical swimming pool, but the other one is a roof pool. At the top of the roof, you can enjoy the view of Jeju oreums and the bar. However, this pool is only open for adults (above 19).

The room:
The next thing that I liked was the minibar that were all free. The mini bar included chips, a milk chocolate, soda, one bottle of sparkling water, and two bottles of water.

The room that we stayed in. This hotel seemed to have "sailor" theme.

The view from the garden.

The view from the roof.

The children's/ground pool.

Roe deer observation center / Geochin Oreum

[Tracking/Ecological park]

Open hours: Open all year
Business hours: March ~ October: 9:00 ~ 19:00, November ~ February: 9:00 ~ 17:00
Contact info: N/A
Adress: San 66, Bonggae - Dong, Jeju city
Admission Fee: Free
Tracking hour: 50 minutes
Exhibition Hall: 30 minutes

I highly recommend this place for families with children. From the Roe dear observation centre, there are 13 Roe dears that you can feed and touch. There is also a play ground for young children when you walk a bit more. For the adults and children who are able walk 50 minutes, Geochin oreum is where you can find the wild Roe dears. This oreum is connected to the Roe dear observation center, so you can easily walk and enjoy the oreum.

Since I am an animal lover, I often came here with my mom and always saw herd of wild Roe dears. This oreum is also easy to walk because the track is not straight up to the pick (you walk around to reach the top).
