The Geomunoreum is highly recommended. Unlike other oreums in Jeju Island, most of the nature is preserved. You can instantly feel the difference between oreums that people artificially made and the one that is all natural. The requirements might seem complicated, but the oreum is worthwhile.

There is a reason this oreum was selected as Unesco heritage sight. There are brackens, moss, ceder trees, shrubs, and pines. There are also many bird species living here. The lava tube, columnar - jointed cliffs, and waterfalls all makes the Geomunoreum special.

Jeongmul Oreum is located near the Seong Isi Dol farm and is easy to walk. In the entrance of this Oreum, you can find a small pound. The water flows from the top of the mountain, so many wild flowers, amphibians, and insects inhabit here. Many people come to this oream to learn about the ecology and to enjoy the splendid natural scenery.

You can walk the the circular ridge.

When you walk through the orum, you will find a sign that explains about the characteristic of this oream (the house - shoe shaped crater).

This is the view when you reach the top.

Personally, this is one of my favorite oreum in Jeju. Walking through the silver grass and viewing all the natural scenery really makes you feel refreshed and realize how beautiful this island is.
